It’s been open for fifty years and has satisfied various salary men from nearby offices. Despite it being called a Western cuisine cafeteria, it also provides other varieties of menus. For the people of this certain world, it’s their one-and-only special cafeteria. There is, however, one secret to “Nekoya.” The cafeteria is closed to the public every Saturday in order to make way for special guests. When a bell rings, customers from different places of birth and races appear who ask for mysterious and delicious dishes. They are actually the same dishes served to the salary men, but these special guests find them to be more exotic than to what they are used to. As the cafeteria aims to serve masterpieces, it is usually referred as “Isekai Shokudou.” And so, the bell rings again this week.

The government sends a small group of soldiers from the Japanese Self-Defense Forces to the alternate world beyond the gate. Led by otaku soldier Itami Youji, they find that the villages in the world are being attacked by a dragon. An elf girl who is a survivor from the dragon’s rampage joins the group in their travels across the dangerous new world.

Plot: Modern-day middle school girl Hideyoshi is mysteriously hurled into a world resembling the warring states period of Japanese history, only this time it’s inhabited only by women. This world’s Oda Nobunaga is gathering the legendary Crimson Armor so she can rule the world, and for some reason needs Hideyoshi’s help to do it.

Plot: Princess Millhiore of the Biscotti Republic decides to summon a brave warrior from an alternate world — that happens to be Earth — to defend her country from the neighboring fiefdom of Garrett led by the powerful Leonmitchelli Galette des Rois. The “brave warrior” turns out to be an athletic boy named Cinque, visiting the international school in Kinokawa City. On arrival in this fantastic world, Cinque, quickly takes on the role of a successful hero. There is a downside to all this though: Once summoned, a return to the hero’s world of origin is no longer possible, as the disclaimer in tiny alien writing on the magic circle explains, that Tatsumaki used to teleport Cinque to this world. The temporary fun-packed visit to this strange land, has become quite permanent as it seems.Will Cinque be able to cope with all the adventures of this new reality?

Plot: Yuri Shibuya was living a pretty normal life. That changed the day he was dunked into a toilet after an attempt to save a classmate from a gang of bullies. Instead of just getting a good soaking, he’s pulled in. The next thing he knows, he’s in a world that vaguely resembles medieval Europe. If that’s not odd enough, he’s told that he is to be the next Maoh, just because he has black hair and black eyes. The Maoh is the King of the Mazoku, who are coexisting not-so-peacefully with the humans in this world. Much to his subjects’ dismay, he’s totally different from the rulers they’re accustomed to. He’s kind, considerate, a believer in justice, and not willing to use violence to solve conflicts. Not exactly someone they want running a country on the very brink of war. Now, Yuri has to deal with trying to become a good Maoh, while at the same time attempting to adapt to this lands’ customs and culture, all in a world where the tension between the humans and Mazoku is reaching its peak.

Plot: Tsubasa a boy who started playing only a few weeks before, finds himself taken to a mysterious zone, where he meets Aura, Morganna, and a mysterious player that has the appearance of a cat. Soon after realizing that he can’t logout, he is forced to stay in “The World”, but unlike other characters he can still feel pain, he still has his emotions. He slowly separates himself from those who try to help him, the only ones that can help him. His friends Bear and Black Rose, constantly try to comfort him in his struggle, but he always pushes them away. 52. Abenobashi Mahou Shoutengai (Magical Shopping Arcade Abenobashi)

Plot: Childhood friends Arumi and Sasshi are residents of the Abenobashi commercial district in Abeno-ku, Osaka. After an accident, they find themselves transported to an alternate sword and sorcery world. Their attempt to get back to reality finds them traversing a series of nonsensical worlds built on science fiction, war, fantasy, dating sim games and American movies. Each alternate Abenobashi is a surreal manifestation of Sasshi’s otaku interests, populated by analogs of the protagonist’s relatives and acquaintances and a blue-haired stranger known as Eutus.

Separated from Keiki, Youko and her friends must do whatever they can if they wish to survive in this new world.
